Ryan Reynolds has gained recognition in all these years as a flawless actor but he has also been involved in some business ventures that have contributed to his overall wealth.

Recently, legacy network provider T-Mobile finalized the purchase of the Reynolds-backed Mint Mobile at a price of $1.35 billion.

The sale consists of 61% in stock and 39% in cash. Reynolds currently holds a minority ownership stake in Mint Mobile.

Reynolds will continue to be the face of the company as the actor is aiming to continue for the next few years with the service provider.

Reynolds jokingly issued a statement saying that they are happy that T-Mobile beat out an aggressive last minute bid from his mother Tammy as they believe that the excellence of the network would provide a perfect strategic fit.

This is not the first time that a major company has involved itself in celebrity business ventures. There have been others with big businesses in the alcohol and cosmetic industries.

Ryan Reynolds has been at the forefront of promoting luxury alcohol brand Aviation Gin, which was acquired by Diageo for $610 million in 2020.

Reynolds is all set to reprise his role in Deadpool 3, which will be set in the MCU, and it is scheduled to release sometime in 2024.
