Christina Aguilera Opens Up About The Impact Of Men's Opinions On Her Body Image

Christina Aguilera has recently spoken up on embracing sexuality and taking ownership of her body within the toxic entertainment industry.
In an interview with Allure, she addressed about her beginning as a performer at the Mickey House Club, when she was 7 years old.
Her beginning was innocent but she was made to feel about her body and the lines that were blurred. She said that in this business, an individual is going to have a lot of opinions about his/her body and sexuality.
She added that a lot of those comes from male opinions and older businessman’s opinions which has nothing to do with body and self-image.
Christina also recognized that she had to struggle with bodily autonomy due to control of external sources and when she was slowly getting popular.
Christina Aguilera said that people thought she had some kind of sexual confrontation but it was her speaking her truth of what it felt like to be herself and embracing her body.
She added that she wanted women to feel comfortable and explore what makes them feel good. She mentioned that embracing sexuality to feel empowered and raw.
Aguilera stated that she tries to be conscious about what she puts in her body and how her daughter likes to see her.
