Elon Musk Loses Richest Person's Tag Once Again

Elon Musk's wealth has seen massive fluctuations lately. Especially since he bought Twitter.

He has lost the top spot in Forbes richest list to LVMH's chairman Bernard Arnault.

A lot of Musk's loss of wealth is attributed to the loss making Twitter, which he bought for $44 billion.

Musk's net worth has slipped by around $39 billion in the past year to $180 billion.

Arnault, whose net worth is $211 billion, frequently swaps the richest persons position with Musk.

According to the magazine, Musk has seen a decrease in his wealth because he bought Twitter with his Tesla shares.

The shares of Musk's electric car maker has decreased by 50 percent since the Twitter takeover.

Musk has been taking drastic measures for Twitter to gain users and generate profit.
