Karol G Slams Her Own GQ Cover For Its Disrespectful Photo Editing

Karol G has criticized G2 Mexico for being disrespectful for her recent cover photoshoot. She slammed the magazine for photoshopping her picture.
Karol posted a picture of the cover on Instagram where she said that she was not satisfied with the changes made.
She wrote in Spanish that she has no words to describe her feelings and that the magazine cover has a picture that does not represent her.
She added that her face and body are not how it is being shown on the cover. She mentioned that she is happy and comfortable with how she looks naturally.
However, Karol also expressed her gratitude towards the magazine for giving her the opportunity. But she was critical of the retouches made without her permission.
The singer stated that she conveyed the same to the magazine but they did not do anything to make some new changes.
Karol also wrote that she is aware of the consequences but that it is disrespectful to women who wake up looking to feel comfortable with themselves despite society’s stereotypes.
Karol G has released four albums until now with the latest album, Manana Sera Bonito, released on February 24, 2023.
