Quentin Tarantino Admits He Doesn't Like Filming Sex Scenes In His Movies

Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino finds sex scenes outside his vision of cinematic storytelling.

Quentin Tarantino told the Catalan publication Diari Ara that his movies have no place for sex scenes. He also finds them problematic to film.

Quentin Tarantino told the publication, "It's true, sex is not part of my vision of cinema. And the truth is that, in real life, it's a pain to shoot sex scenes, everyone is very tense,"

He added, "If it was already a bit problematic to do it before, now it is even more so. If there had ever been a sex scene that was essential to the story, I would have, but so far it hasn't been necessary."

Except for 'Jackie Brown' and 'Inglorious Basterds,' there are no scenes of sexual nature in the director's filmography.

While Tarantino may find sex scenes in movies repulsive, he's always been a proponent of on-screen violence.

Tarantino has been hounded by moralists for using violence as a part of his storytelling. He  has disregarded such claims,  insisting on-screen violence is just entertainment.

Quentin Tarantino is said to be working on his final film, 'The Movie Critic,' said to be about a female journalist in 1970s Los Angeles.
