Choupette the Cat is a character that has been trending for being an inspiration for the outfits of several celebrities at the Met Gala 2023.
The official Instagram page of Choupette the Cat also posted a picture where the animal asked if his twins exist anywhere.
The cat, which is said to be worth $13 million, was a hot topic at the event on May 1, 2023, while stars paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld.
The cat was specifically trending as Jared Leto and Doja Cat arrived at the event. Their outfits left several attendees and viewers scratching their heads.
Leto’s outfit also included realistic hair and giant, bright blue eyes which was looking similar to Choupette’s eyes.
Leto then changed the outfit where he was seen in a formal and an all-black ensemble to walk the cream, blue and red carpet.
Doja Cat stepped out on the carpet in a silver sequined custom Oscar de la Renta gown with embellished animal ears and a prosthetic cat nose.
Doja’s outfit also had a dramatic hood and feather train, which was looking similar to the fluffy fur of Choupette.
