Prince William Honors Royal Aide Who Called Out Meghan Markle For Bullying

WRITTEN BY SHAURYA THAKUR

Prince William has made Jason Knauf a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order at an investiture ceremony on Wednesday at the Windsor Castle.

Jason Knauf was the former CEO of Prince William and Kate Middleton's charitable foundation between 2019-2022.

Before that, Knauf worked as communications secretary for William and Kate, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

Jason Knauf accused Meghan Markle of bullying, ultimately going public with the feud. His interview with Oprah Winfrey aired in March 2021.

The Times of London reported that Knauf had made the palace' HR department aware about Meghan's behavior in October 2018.

A representative for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle denied the claims at the time, calling it a "calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful information."

Jason Knauf was named in Meghan's lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, for which she was awarded £1 from The Mail.

Prince William has not publicly addressed the rift between Meghan Markle and Jason Knauf.
