Christopher McQuarrie Stands By Tom Cruise's Viral 'Mission: Impossible' Set Rant

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, 'Mission: Impossible' director Christopher McQuarrie recalled Tom Cruise's on-set rant from last year.

McQuarrie said the incident happened during "a very complicated and a very uncertain time."

Christopher McQuarrie believes it came from a place of righteousness, as they were "fighting to keep the industry alive."

The 'Mission: Impossible' director is "thankful" for people who understood the intention behind it.

While filming 'Mission: Impossible— Dead Reckoning Part I,' Tom Cruise lost his cool at the crew members breaking the safety protocols.

Tom Cruise was filmed yelling at the crew members, "We are not shutting this f****** movie down! Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re f****** gone."

CinemaCon 2023 attendees got to see a 20-minute preview of 'Mission: Impossible— Dead Reckoning Part I' which received a positive response.

'Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part I' has a theatrical release date of July 12, 2023.
