The Kamado family's death was the first death in the show and it was truly heartbreaking both for Tanjiro and the fans.
These two are Urokodaki's previous students. Whilst their death didn't happen in front of Tanjiro, it was still heartbreaking.
More than his death, it is the fact that the children of the monastery apologized to him in his vision that makes fans cry.
Tamayo's death was quite monumental in the series. The fact that she was killed by the person she hated and that she didn't get to see him die is sad.
Jigoro Kuwajima committed Seppuku to atone for the fact that he taught someone who became a demon. His death was tragic and sad.
Ironically the love pillar realized her love for someone quite late. Mitsuri and Obanai died together and vowed to be with each other in the next life.
Shinobu's death was the main reason behind Douma's defeat. However, it is still really tragic that she died before seeing him die.
Genya's death was very sad for the fans and his brother, Sanemi. Although Genya contributed a lot to Kokushibo's defeat, he was still killed.
Akaza is the only demon that fans sympathize with. Although his death was inevitable, it still hurt the fans.
Rengoku is the first Hashira to die in the series. His death will forever sadden and hurt the demon slayer fans.
