‘House Of The Dragon’ follows the Targaryen family about 200 years before the events of ‘Game Of Thrones’. It is based on is based on George R.R. Martin’s book 'Fire & Blood.'
Viserys Targaryen, played by Paddy Considine, is the current king of Westeros.
Rhaenyra is King Viserys’ first-born child who is also a brilliant dragonrider. Her younger version is played by Milly Alcock.
The adult Rhaenyra is portrayed by Emma D’Arcy.
Matt Smith essays the role of Daemon, who is the power-hungry warrior and younger brother of King Viserys.
Otto Hightower, played by Rhys Ifans, is the Hand of the King to Viserys.
Otto’s daughter, Alicent Hightower, is Rhaenyra’s closest friend. Emily Carey plays the character as a teen.
Her older version is played by Olivia Cooke.
Rhaenys Targaryen, essayed by Eve Best, lost the Iron Throne to her male cousin, King Viserys. She is is called “the queen who never was.”
Rhaenys is married to Lord Corlys Velaryon – who is called ‘Sea Snake’ for his naval expertise.
Harrold Westerling, played by Graham McTavish, is a knight and member of the Kingsguard who also takes care of Rhaenyra.
