Musk has been laser-focused on Twitter lately after he bought the company for $44 billion. Another company that he owns is right now in the news for all the wrong reasons.

His chip company Neuralink is under federal investigation for concerns about animal abuse by the US Department of Agriculture.

Several former and current employees of the company, 20 to be precise, have revealed that Musk’s iron-fist work environment has caused workers to cut corners and rush through everything.

This led to rushed work and errors while testing and resulted in several animal suffering and deaths.

Around 1,500 animals, including pigs, monkeys, and sheep, have been killed during Neuralink testing since 2018.

Over the past few years, the brain chip company made several errors while testing on animals. It involves putting the wrong surgical glue or the wrong-size brain chip.

All this caused scientists to have to kill those animals and start experiments all over again. Employees said Musk pressured them to work faster which caused these errors.
