Ballet Flats Thanks to 'Gossip Girls', ballet flats were trending on runways with Dior, Chanel, and Salvatore Ferragamo including them in their collection.

Pastels        To brighten the dark hues of 2023, Pastels will be trending as Fendi, Raf Simons, and Eudon Choi painted the runways with them. The core Y2K fashion snowballed in the 2023 color palette

Y2.0K       Y2K will still be trending in 2023 as well. The essentials will consist of low-rise skirts, crop tops, petite bags, and denim on denim.

Academia       The sleek geek is in trend as looking nerd has become a fashion statement. The beige and goth paired with some knit-wear styled outfits had their presence on the runway from brands like Burberry, Fendi, and Prada

Metallics       Liane Wiggins said that 'bouncy metallic chenille, silver sequins, and high craft' techniques will be a stand out trend in 2023. Chanel, Valentino, and Altuzarra flaunted their patterns.

Fringe     The most impressive trend on Spring/Summer runway was fringe. The resurrection of this ancient Mesopotamian tradition was done by Alexander McQueen and Bottega Veneta

Sheer       Another Y2K trend emerged and is continuing to dominate the fashion scene is the sheer shirts styled with laces and sheer panels.
