Sadie Sink Calls Her First Kiss In ‘Stranger Things’ A Nerve-Wracking Experience

WRITTEN BY SARAH KANDARI

Sadie in an interview for W Magazine's 2023  Best Performances Portfolio shared that her first kiss in the series with Caleb McLaughlin was "awkward" and "nerve-wracking".

Earlier in an interview with IndieWire, Sadie revealed that the kiss was unscripted. The last-minute-addition was popped to her when she arrived at the set for the Snowball dance filming.

The first kiss between Stranger Things's Max and Lucus happened in the last episode of season 2- The Gate.

"We were filming. You can see it on Netflix! We were both awkward, but it was also funny because all our friends were there and all these extras and lights and music. It was nerve-wracking at the time, but I look back now and can laugh about it." she said on W Magazine.

However, the "Fear Street" actress is not uncomfortable or angry with the showrunners about it.

In The Wrap interview, Sadie asserted that she was very comfortable working with the Duffer Brothers. She further added that she believes that they do the "best job".

On Beyond Stranger Things, Ross Duffer confessed that he popped the kiss as a joke. But Sadie freaked out and strongly reacted to it that encouraged him to add the kiss.

On further talking about Stranger Things, 'The Whale' actress shared that the series finale is ending at the right time and that it will be an emotional goodbye.
