Emilia Clarke Hesitant on Star Wars Return After ‘Solo’ Disaster

Emilia Clarke recently addressed her return to the Star Wars franchise after portraying Qi’ra in Solo: A Star War Story.

Clarke was asked if she would ever reprise her role in the franchise and she replied by saying that she is already working in another franchise.

In an interview with IndieWire, she said that she is currently busy with Secret Invasion and she is having fun on the sets of the show.

According to reports she will appear as Abigail Brand in the upcoming MCU series. However, the news is yet to be confirmed.

Solo received positive reviews from critics but it was a box office failure as it grossed around $393 million.

Secret Invasion is all set to premiere in early 2023, on Disney+. The show will feature some well-known faces from the entertainment industry.

Clarke’s upcoming projects include the science fiction romantic comedy film, The Pod Generation. The film is directed by Sophie Barthes.

Clarke is well-known for appearance as Daenerys Targaryen in all the eight seasons of the popular HBO series, Game of Thrones.
