Rupert Grint gained recognition when he started playing the role of Ron Weasley in the popular film franchise, Harry Potter, which ended in 2011.

Grint recently spoke about his experience working on the franchise, saying that he once wanted to discontinue playing the role.

In an interview with Bustle, he said that it was a suffocating experience as they had to film for a majority of the year and the rest of the days were spent on promotion.

Grint was only 11 when he was cast in the first film and because he was on a busy schedule, he did not get time to get his tonsils removed.

However, he has admitted that the films and the character will remain with him forever and he now considers Ron as his second name.

Rupert Grint will next appear in the psychological horror film, Knock at the Cabin, directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The film is scheduled to be released on February 3, 2023.

He recalled the memories of working in the Harry Potter franchise when he appeared on the HBO Max television special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.

The 34-year-old recently became famous for his performance as Julian Pearce in the Apple TV+ psychological horror series, Servant.
