Jackie Chan Was Offered ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ Lead Role Before Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh stated that Jackie Chan talked to her when she was nominated for Everything Everywhere All At Once at the Oscars.

Chan revealed in the conversation that the role was first offered to him and it was initially a man when it was first written.

In an interview with CNN, Yeoh recalled that the character was written for a man with her being the wife of the character, which would have been played by Chan.
