Samantha Markle is suing for "defamation and injurious falsehood" claims made against her by the couple in the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

It was here when Meghan Markle exposed the behavior of the British family to the public.

She has also been open about her struggling relationship with her family, discussing her father, Thomas Markle, and half-sister Samantha Markle on various occasions.

Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Samantha Markle sued them in 2022 on charges of defamation and falsehood.

Meghan Markle attempted to end these depositions by filing a motion which Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell dismissed.

Under the lawsuit filed in 2022, Samantha Markle is seeking a $75,000 (£62,000) restitution from the couple.

Samantha Markle also accused Meghan of lying and giving the world a false sense of their relationship.

By claiming childhood hardship, Meghan destroyed her father and half-sister's "reputation and credibility."
