Dame Helen Mirren skipped the red carpet at the BAFTAs ceremony.

Instead, she came on stage to pay a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II in a black dress with a sheer cape sleeves accessorized with diamond earrings.

She was later spotted at the Berlinale Film Festival wearing a pink, wool roll neck cashmere sweater with black jeans and white sneakers keeping it casual.

She is at the Berlinale for the screening of Guy Nattiv's film 'Golda'. It is the biopic of Israel's 'iron lady' Golda Meir.

Helen Mirren will be seen in the titular role of Golda Meir, an important Israeli Prime Minister who played a crucial role in the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

During the premiere of the film on February 20th, 2023, Helen looked ageless in a black floor length gown with a little plunging neckline.

She skipped the question about the controversial casting for the role as she  is not either Israeli or Jewish.

The red carpet queen Anne Hathaway was also present in Germany for Berlinale 2023
