The star couple brought their baby girl into this world via surrogacy in January. However, the couple described the journey as not less than that of a “roller coaster” ride. After “100 plus days in the NICU” Malti Marie Chopra Jonas is “finally home.”

Parenthood is difficult, but when the partners are by each other’s sides, nothing seems impossible. Chopra and Jonas are the epitome of this. The couple marked the Mothers’ Day occasion as they welcomed their baby home after 100 days at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Both the actress and musician took it to their social media to share an adorable, family picture.
Nick on his Instagram and Twitter, and the Baywatch star on her Instagram shared, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.

The post continued, “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.”In the picture, Priyanka is seen holding the baby closer to her chest with a look of serenity while Papa Jonas held the hand of the newborn.
The couple said they are “overjoyed that our little girl is finally home.” They extended their gratitude to the staff at the hospital who helped to take care of Malti Marie while she was hospitalized. Nick Jonas extended his Mothers’ Day wishes with the message saying, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers and caretakers out there.” The pop artist went ahead and wished his wife. He continued, “…but I want to take a minute to say a special Mother’s Day wish to my incredible wife @priyankachopra on her first Mother’s Day.”
