Cate Blanchett has many real estate investments. In 2006, the family moved bases from a house in Brighton, England to their homeland Australia. They acquired a mansion in the North Shore Suburban area for $7 million and a mansion adjacent to that for $5 million. 

They listed their mansions for $14.7 million in 2015. However, in 2017, they sold the house for $13 million. They again moved their bases to London and bought a house in East Sussex for $4 million.
