In 2020, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith sat together in an episode of her Facebook series ‘Red Table Talk’. During the episode, she addressed the growing rumors about her affair with artist August Alsina. He revealed that he was romantically involved with Jada and they had Will’s blessings.

Chris Rock later explained the reference which was from the 2020 episode of her show where she discussed infidelity. He said, “His wife was fucking her son’s friend. I normally would not talk about this s***… I have no idea why two talented people would do something that fucking lowdown.”

He continued, “We’ve all been cheated on, everybody in here been cheated on. None of us has ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us, on television… She hurt him way more than he hurt me.”
