    Critics Choice Awards 2022: List Of All The Winners And Nominees

    The 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards happened on Sunday with many notable names in attendance. Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer turned the hosts for the evening as the best of films and TV were announced. The Power Of The Dog continued its winning streak here at Critics Awards as it bagged a total of four awards.

    In the films categories, Belfast and West Side Story were at the top of the list for maximum nominations. Both the film’s bagged 11 nominations each, however, towards the end of the awards ceremony, The Power Of The Dog emerged as the clear winner. Jane Campion’s film is dominating the awards season this year with a clear vision for Academy Awards where they’ve earned 12 nominations.

    Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast closely followed behind nabbing three awards each. Moreover, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story claimed two awards for this season. In the acting arena, Will Smith claimed the top award for the evening for the film King Richard.

    The television arena witnessed the domination of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso. The show claimed awards for all four categories in which it was nominated. Following it, HBO’s show Succession bagged a total of three awards including that for Best Drama Series. Moreover, Netflix’s Squid Game made a surprise entry as the lead Lee Jung-Jae was awarded Best Actor in a Drama Series.
