Elon Musk has denied a recent story about former US President Donald Trump. The report claimed that Donald Trump persuaded him to acquire Twitter.
Musk recently stated at FT Live’s Future of the Car conference with Benny Johnson that he will lift the former US President’s ban on Twitter. Elon further finds the prohibition on Trump “morally incorrect” and “outright foolish.”

‘I Would Reverse The Permanent Ban’: Elon Musk
Musk had earlier shared that according to him, permanent bans on Twitter should be kept rare. Further, such bans should only be used in case the account is that of a bot or a scam account or even a spam account. Musk also highlights that he personally does not think that Donald Trump’s ban was valid and correct.

Elon shares that the ban on Trump was huge as it alienated a large part of the country. And finally, the aim of the ban did not serve the purpose as Trump still used other platforms to share his concerns and opinions. Elon additionally shares that once he owns Twitter, he will reverse Trump’s permanent ban. But Musk has also highlighted that this thing is not definitive as he is not sure that he will get the ownership of Twitter.

Why Donald Trump Got Banned From Twitter
Last year, former US President Donald Trump was banned from Twitter. This comes after his supporters stormed the US Capitol in Washington after he lost the presidential election to Joe Biden. Donald Trump was banned from pretty much all the key social media platforms. These include the likes of Facebook and YouTube as a result of this outburst. The small protest eventually turned into a culminated in widespread violence.
As for Trump’s return to Twitter, he had told Fox News before Musk’s purchase that he was not willing to join Twitter again. Further, Donald Trump shares that he would instead love to stay at Truth (Truth Social). Donald Trump also hints at his hope that Elon buys Twitter. He personally feels so because he thinks that Musk will improve it. For Trump, Elon is a good man. Given this fact, Donald Trump would still like to stay on Truth!
