This tweet comes after Elon Musk’s address to Twitter employees on Thursday. He told the employees that he wants to execute the same strategy as WeChat, a messaging app, and TikTok to gain 1 billion users. During the conference, he explained how Twitter can make the app user-friendly and attract engagement by making sure “people are very entertained and informed.” He referred to Wechat, an all-encompassing app.
Musk said, “There’s no Wechat equivalent outside of China. You basically live on Wechat in China. If we recreate that with Twitter, we’ll be a great success.” The SpaceX CEO then continued praising TikTok for its algorithm. While singing its praise, he said, “we could hone Twitter, in the same way, to be interesting.”

hmm, tiktok is kinda just like watching dumber, shorter, more addicting tv
social media in general tho, i think is an extension of chat rooms or message boards, tends to make people act pretty stupid 🤣

TikTok is by far the WORST social media platform.
They ban things that can’t possibly breach their terms of service.
But leave the vilest stuff up.
