It is a moment of joy for the fans of the franchise and fans of Jason Momoa. In an exclusive news, he has confirmed his appearance in the Fast And Furious franchise. The Aquaman star will be appearing as an antagonist in the film. While being on the red carpet for the premiere of Ambulance, Jason talked about his role in the new installment. Along with this, he also gave the fans of the series a respite by revealing the return of Charlize Theron as the beloved villain, Cipher.
Jason Teased About His Role In The New Installment
It is confirmed that Momoa will be seen in the upcoming Fast And Furious 10. He exclusively revealed this during the premiere of The Batman. Jason attended the screening to support his step-daughter Zoë Kravitz. At the premiere, he teased what his role will be.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said, “I’m gonna go do Fast 10. Yeah, I’m gonna go do this small, independent over in London,” he joked. “It’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t got to do for a while. Now I’m gonna be the bad boy — the very flamboyant bad boy. You know, a little panache.”
The Fast & Furious franchise will be wrapped after its 10th & 11th installments. It will be directed by Justin Lin, who is credited with directing earlier franchises.
Along with Vin Diesel, longtime stars Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Nathalie Emmanuel are expected to return. Also returning is rapper Cardi B, who had a much-talked-about cameo in F9.
Jason Momoa Talked About The Traits Of His Character
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jason talked about what the audiences can expect out of his antagonist in the film, “He’s amazing. He’s ornery. He’s misunderstood.” He expressed his excitement to work with some great people with a special mention of Charlize Theron. “I get to shoot with some really cool people that I have never — I get to work with Charlize first up, which I’m really excited about. She’s amazing.”
Revealing more about his contribution to the franchise, he will be also seen fighting Vin Diesel. He teasingly said, “I’m sure that’s why they hired me.” and continued, “But yeah, I’m excited I’m working with Vin. I’m excited I’m working with
Charlize.” Momoa is enthusiastic about visiting places with the cast as well. “Then I get to go to some cool places. Obviously, work with the whole cast — most of the cast.”
