    Harry Styles Donates Over $1 Million To Nonprofit Everytown With A Pledge To Stop Gun Violence

    Recently a very disheartening incident of a shoot put in an elementary school in Texas has shocked the entire world. The Tuesday shooting resulted in the deaths of 19 children and two teachers. It led to calls to action on social media from politicians, civic leaders, and Hollywood figures alike.

    Currently, the whole of America is mourning the loss of the 19 young lives. People all over the country are voicing out against gun violence and even questioning the politicians. This was a black day in the history of America. Many celebrities Have voiced their opinion about the incident including Harry Styles.

    The singer, songwriter, and the ex One Direction member speaks out regarding the Texas massacre. He went as far as to issue a statement to put a stop to the gun violence in America. On Friday, he made an announcement for the cause. Harry Styles declared that he’ll be partnering up with the nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety in his North American tour. He even said that he along with Live Nation will donate $1 million to the organization.

    “Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at the latest in Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas,” Styles’ post reads. “On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown. They work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts and sharing their suggested action items.” The post also had a simple caption: “End gun violence.”

    Celebs Will Not Stop Raising Their Voice For The Cause

    Harry Styles was not the only one to raise his voice for this cause. Along with him, there were many esteemed singers and actors like Chris Evans, Olivia Rodrigo, and many more. Taylor Swift exclaimed that she was “filled with rage and grief” regarding the shootouts in America.

    “We, as a nation, have become conditioned to unfathomable and unbearable heartbreak,” Swift wrote. Chris Evans said “F*****G ENOUGH”. Apart from this, the singer Selena Gomez took to Twitter to share her dissent. Harry Styles sold out his third album “Harry’s House”. The singer is supposed to go on tour in August 2022.
