    “I Just Wants To Be Ordinary”- Andrew Garfield Says He Wants To Take A Leave From Acting For A Short While

    Andrew Garfield had an amazing run this year. His performance in Spiderman No Way Home has created an amazing impact at the box office. He also starred opposite the Oscar winner Jessica Chasten in The Eyes Of Tammy Faye. Not only that he was also nominated for the Oscars for his portrayal of Jonathon Larson in Tick, Tick…Boom!

    In a recent interview with the Variety, Andrew Garfield has declared that he wants to take a break. His break starts after the release of the true-crime series “Under The Banner Of Heaven” on April 28th.

    When asked about his plans the actor replied that “He just wants to be ordinary for a while”. After Garfield’s hectic year, taking a break makes sense for him. As the awards season has taken a toll on him. He added: “I’m going to rest for a little bit. I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while.”

    The actor has explained the awards season was very tough on him. He said it’s a “washing machine”. Still, he says he is grateful for all the experiences that he had.

    “It’s so fun and you get to hang out with people that you love and admire and you get to be a part of a conversation that is so privileged,” he said. “You get to experience all the firsthand, visceral [parts of] being a part of that community and the dynamics.”

    Fans should not worry too much as the new material from Garfield is coming soon. The actor is going to star as detective Jeb Pyre in the crime series “Under The Banner of Heaven”. The series is supposed to air on FX starting April 28th. The series was adopted from Jon Krakauer’s best-selling non-fiction book.

    “I thought it was just such an incredible study of fundamentalism leading to such horrific acts and how human beings can justify terrible violence in the name of God and love,” Andrew said about the show. “I found it really compelling and important.”

    Fans can’t wait to see Garfield back on the big screen after his incredible run this year. Let’s hope that he ends his break soon.
