“I’ll Compete With Real Fighters”: Mark Zuckerberg Taunts Rival Elon Musk While Flexing His Gym Moves After Surgery

Mark Zuckerberg is showing off his quick return to the gym just five months after undergoing knee surgery. And the Meta CEO is not shying away from using it as a flex amid his ongoing feud with fellow billionaire Elon Musk, who had issued a challenge for a cage fight against him.

Zuckerberg had reportedly torn a ligament during his MMA training and has since been sidelined for several months because of the subsequent knee surgery. But he is back with a bang, showing his resilience and commitment to get fit again. Zuckerberg shared a video of his workout on Instagram, and fans can be reassured that his post-surgery recovery is progressing well.

In the caption of the video, Zuckerberg provided an update on his recovery journey. “Five months post-surgery. Recovery is going well and starting to get strength back,” he wrote.

Seizing the opportunity to taunt his rival, Zuckerberg also responded to a follower’s comment suggesting he could “push kick Elon to Mars.” “I’ll compete with real fighters when I’m back,” he wrote in the reply, referring to the earlier challenge for a cage match that Musk had proposed.

The infamous rivalry between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk has been in the news for a while,. But it reached new heights when Musk proposed the idea of a cage fight — a challenge that both billionaires took seriously. UFC president Dana White also confirmed their intentions to be true as social media speculated if the two are just playing along with a practical joke against the netizens.

However, both of them were seen getting training sessions with professional boxers after Musk challenged Zuckerberg and he accepted it. Musk even showed the readiness to engage “anywhere, anytime,” but Zuckerberg publicly declined an offer to spar in Musk’s backyard last August.

The competitive banter, however, continued until Zuckerberg had to undergo surgery. Now with his return to the gym, fans are curious about the fate of the fight. The rivalry between Zuckerberg and Musk extends beyond this, as Zuckerberg has been making some business moves against Musk as well. His recently launched platform Threads, is a social media platform aimed at challenging Musk’s ventures.

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg also recently surpassed Musk to claim the title of the world’s third-richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Zuckerberg’s net worth has soared to $186.9 billion, surpassing that of his rival.
