American actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson gained a huge fan following for his portrayal of Mitchell Pritchett on the sitcom, “Modern Family”. His wonderful acting skills brought him nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award and much more. The 46-year-old actor is married to lawyer Justin Mikita. The couple has a son, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, whom they welcomed on July 7, 2022. Recently, they announced that they are expecting a second baby.

This modern family is getting even bigger. Jesse and Justin shared the big news about them becoming parents once again. “Justin Mikita and I have some exciting news, we’re expecting number 2!” Ferguson wrote on social media. “Our growing family will be a family of four later this fall! We are so excited for Beckett to have a sibling. We are expanding our family,” the actor continued. They have given a clue of the due date by saying their 1-year-old son, Beckett will become a big brother “this fall.”
“There is a lot of really horrible stuff going on in the world right now, so Justin and I wanted to share a little bit of good news with you,” the “Modern Family” alum, 46, wrote referencing Tuesday’s elementary school shooting in Texas. Ferguson also shared that their organization will donate $25,000 each to Everytown for Gun Safety, ACLU, and the National Abortion Federation.
Ferguson described his happiness about their celebratory partnership with MiliMili, featuring limited-edition “sleep sacks, crib sheets, eye masks and robes.”
Some Sweet Memories
The couple expressed gratitude from the core of their heart. “We are so excited to have a little one joining our growing family — and so proud to support the choice to do it,” Ferguson concluded. “A special thanks to @drshahinghadir & @scrcivf who has provided us the possibility to expand our family not once, but twice. We wouldn’t be here without you!”
The two became parents in July 2020 with Beckett via surrogacy. Ferguson and Mikita celebrated their seventh anniversary which brought the first look of their baby on an Instagram post. “Two weeks ago I got to see you become a dad,” he gushed in a message to his partner at the time. “We are entering a whole new chapter and I couldn’t be happier to be doing it with you.”
Then, in June, Mikita’s adorable Father’s Day note touched millions of fans. “It’s been a wild year but you’ve kept us singing, dancing & laughing through it,” he captioned a sweet 2021 shot. “We love you, papa!”
The two are no doubt adorable and planning for their future together. Ferguson has called Mikita an “amazing husband” and a “hot dad” in his posts as well.
