The fight between Elon Musk and Twitter Inc. has grown from a war of words to a full-fledged takeover. This fight as we now know is fueled by a variety of voices behind the scenes. This includes those from billionaires to internet trolls with their own beef with the social media platform. These men found a conduit for pent-up rage over the company’s content moderation and management in Musk.
According to those familiar with the situation, Twitter’s co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey, quit last year under pressure from his board. Some believe that Dorsey was whispering in Musk’s ear that Twitter should be a private firm. Some others think that the reason was content filtering judgment which is very bad right now.

The Libertarians Are Promoting It
A close-knit group of libertarian-leaning activists and businessmen encouraged Musk to become involved before and during his fast takeover of Twitter. It also includes entrepreneur David Sacks. Along with David, there is Steve Jurvetson, a venture capitalist, and former Tesla board member. The list also includes Musk’s brother, Kimbal, a Tesla board member.
Their participation, as well as Musk’s persistent willingness to listen to them, may shed light on one of the big riddles surrounding his Twitter obsession.
