Olivia Rodrigo Sings “F*** You” To Supreme Court Justices Who Voted To Overturn Roe v. Wade

Olivia Rodrigo expressed her opinions to the five Supreme Court judges who contributed to the overturning of Roe v. Wade. During her performance on Saturday at the Glastonbury Festival in England, the singer-songwriter actually threw the Supreme Court justices a giant “F*** you”.

She was performing on stage in front of an audience of about 200,000 people the day after the Supreme Court decided to overturn the landmark 1973 judgment that secured women’s constitutional right to abortion in the United States.

Olivia Rodrigo Dedicates Song To Supreme Court Justices Over Abortion Decision

The California-born pop star addressed United States Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the seminal 1973 decision onstage. She said, “I want to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give an s—t about freedom.

Rodrigo kept going and added, “This song goes out to the justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh. We hate you.”

The singer and guest co-performer Lily Allen then launched into a rendition of the British star’s 2009 song “F*** you.” Many audience members imitated Allen’s middle finger motions while singing along.

At the festival, which was broadcast live by the BBC, Olivia assured the viewers that she was “devastated and terrified” by the judgment, adding, “So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.

    Celebs Condemn Supreme Court’s Decision

While the Supreme Court’s ruling was widely applauded in the politically divided United States, it also sparked widespread protests and public denunciation from several well-known personalities like Taylor Swift, Padma Lakshmi, and Shonda Rhimes.

Rodrigo is not the first celebrity to speak out publicly against the Supreme Court’s decision. “F—k the Supreme Court!” was shouted by the audience as Phoebe Bridgers was performing at Glastonbury on June 24. She said to the crowd, “That shit is f—k. F—k America. Like, f—k you. All these irrelevant old motherf—kers trying to tell us what to do with our f—king bodies.”

Fellow Glastonbury entertainer Billie Eilish said on the festival stage that day, “Today is a really dark day for women in the U.S. I’m just going to say that because I can’t bear to think about it anymore in this moment.”
