The teaser shows Sir Reginald declaring off camera, “Our world is changing, has changed!” as Number Five played by Aidan Gallagher wanders alone through a subway station along with Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown‘.
“There are some among us, gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted six such children. I give you the inaugural class of The Umbrella Academy!” Sir Reginald continues, as he points at the drama ensuing further.
Though the siblings are seemingly trying their best to lead ordinary lives, another adventure awaits them. Sir Reginald, now a public figure running a “powerful and nefarious business empire,” refuses to let things remain quiet.
To further add a layer of drama to the story, enter The Keepers, a clandestine group convinced their reality is false and a great reckoning approaches. This calls for ‘The Umbrella Academy‘ to reunite yet again and save the world from its ensuing doom.
The fourth and final season of ‘The Umbrella Academy‘ is set to premiere globally on Netflix on August 8.
