With every passing day, The Batman is inching close to its release. Matt Reeves’s film starring Robert Pattinson has been in the public eye since its inception back in 2019. And now the movie is all ready to hit the screens for the audience to finally experience it. The trailers have recieved mostly positive responses on all aspects from the viewers as yet.
Although the Moviegoers have to wait for few more days, The movie’s team has already witnessed the final cut of Matt’s prized creation. Among all of those who’ve watched the film, Robert Pattinson who plays the titular Batman is also one. And in his latest outing for promoting the film, he revealed how terrified he was to finally watch the film.
Robert Pattinson on ‘Being Terrified’ to Watch The Batman
Matt’s decision to cast Pattinson as The Caped Crusader met with some serious criticism when the news came out. The audience wasn’t sure if the twinkling vampire from Twilight would justify the much-anticipated character. Moreover, uncertain about his ability to portray a character harboring such complex shades in his personality.
However, the team stood by their decision and the film went on with Pattinson in the lead. Additionally, the trailers provided much credibility to Robert’s portrayal of the vigilante. As mostly the audience has liked him in the clips. An aspect subjected to such discussion is sure to have some toll on the actor’s mind. Thus, resulting in Robert’s nervousness to witness the final cut of this film that mostly relies on his shoulders.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Pattinson admitted being nervous to watch the movie that’s going to be out this soon. “I was absolutely terrified. I haven’t been this scared to release a movie in such a long time. I haven’t even released a movie in a really long time! I mean, I’d seen the first 90 minutes by myself in an IMAX before and I knew that the first 90 minutes was great,” shared Robert.
Adding, “But I’ve kind of gotten into this habit where I kind of realized I need to be in the perfect balance of serotonin to watch my own stuff and, like, so I need to kind of…I need to work out for two hours beforehand, I need to have an enormous amount of sugar and caffeine and so, like, whatever I’m watching, I’m like, ‘yes!'”

The Batman was helmed by Matt Reeves after Ben Affleck departed from the project. Matt Reeves put in all his efforts to make The Batman as perfect as he envisioned it to be. Moreover, being strict on every minuscule detail of the film to make sure the absence of any loophole in any aspect of his project. Moreover, Robert and the team have also put their best to make this film a masterpiece of its league.
And thus, the nervousness of the team, especially Pattinson is understandable. The Batman features Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, and Paul Dono as the central characters. The film is all set to hit the screens on the 4th of this March.
