    Guillermo Del Toro Praises ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’

    The anticipation surrounding ‘Avatar 2‘ has been increasing as the release date comes closer every day. Director Guillermo Del Toro is the lucky one to watch it a month before its release.

    He took to Twitter to express his thoughts about the film. Del Toro retweeted a tweet from the film’s producer Jon Landau where the latter congratulated the entire team for completing the mixing and picture mastering. It consists of a picture of James Cameron with the technical team.

    The ‘Pan’s Labrynth‘ director called the film a “staggering achievement.” “‘AVATAR TWOW’ is chokefull of majestic Vistas and emotions at an epic, epic scale. A master at thepeak of his powers…”

    It is slated to be released on December 16 and is made on an estimated budget of $350 to $400 million, making it one of the most expensive films of all time.

    Cameron Will Not Direct The Fourth And Fifth Installment

    Cameron has said earlier that he may not direct the later two planned films in the franchise. “The Avatar films themselves are kind of all-consuming,” he said.

    “I’ve got some other things I’m developing as well that are exciting. I think eventually over time – I don’t know if that’s after three or after four – I’ll want to pass the baton to a director that I trust to take over, so I can go do some other stuff that I’m also interested in. Or maybe not. I don’t know.”

    But the director is excited about the sequels. “Everything I need to say about family, about sustainability, about climate, about the natural world, the themes that are important to me in real life and in my cinematic life, I can say on this canvas,” Cameron said.
