Lizzo Reveals That She Is Still Dating The Mystery Man From Her Valentine’s Day Date

Melissa Viviane Jefferson is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and flutist who goes by the stage name Lizzo. Aside from singing and rapping, Lizzo has also worked as an actor, appearing in the criminal comedy-drama film Hustlers and as a voice performer in the animated feature Ugly Dolls (2019).

Lizzo has stated that she and the disguised mystery man she was spotted with on Valentine’s Day this year are still together.

“You were photographed in LA in February at Craig’s with a mystery man. Are you and your partner still together?” During Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Andy Cohen, 53, addressed the singer with a direct question.

The singer burst into laughter before replying, “Yeah, whatever, yeah.” Cohen asked her, “You’re Lizzo, a superstar, and this person – whoever it is – is that difficult in the relationship?”

While Lizzo remained tight-lipped about the man’s name (and what he does for a job), she did provide a partial response to Cohen’s query. “If you have the right person then no. Not at all, it’s not even a factor,” she clarified. “It should be mutually supportive no matter what that person does.”

Cohen then questioned Lizzo whether “that person” – who was wearing a ski mask during their February dinner meeting – was supporting her hosting role on “Saturday Night Live.”

“Damn, you’re really good at this s–t. You get the scoop, don’t you?” Lizzo joked before clarifying that her secret lover was in fact present. Cohen answered, “I’m happy for you.” “That’s the thing about you. I just feel like you have so many people rooting for you.” Lizzo then referenced a line from her pop hit “Juice,” saying Cohen, “If I’m shining, everybody gonna shine.”

The interview comes after the brunette beauty told People magazine about her dissatisfaction with having to continuously defend her physique. “We all know I’m fat. It doesn’t bother me,” she told the publication. “I like being fat, and I’m beautiful and I’m healthy. So can we move on?”

“I think I have a really hot body! I’m a body icon, and I’m embracing it more and more every day,” she added, noting that articles about her physical looks were becoming more prevalent than those about her musical accomplishments. She further added, It may not be one person’s ideal body type … [but] what I’m doing is stepping into my confidence and my power to create my own beauty standard.”
