Marvel Studios recently launched ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’ which has met with a positive response. It’s a part of the Marvel Special Presentation line that released Michael Giacchino’s ‘Werewolf by Night’ last month.

An August study conducted by the website Fandom has revealed that over one-third of Marvel fans feel fatigued because of the overload of content this year.

However, it also shows that Marvel fans are also far more inclined to watch anything they make compared to DC fans. The DC fanbase is more interested in a film/show about a specific superhero rather than a franchise one.

The study was drawn from a survey of 5,000 entertainment and gaming fans between 13 and 54 years old. They also used the “proprietary insights” from their platform of more than 300 million monthly users.

The study also categorized fans into four subcategories. They are advocates, intentionalists, culturists, and flirts.
