    Doctor Who Fans Are ‘Hyped’ As Former Companions Tegan And Ace Return In The New Trailer

    In the spellbinding trailer for its centennial special, Doctor Who teased the return of two former companions, much to the delight of fans. After announcing her departure from the iconic role last year, the titular character, played by Jodie Whittaker is told in new trailer footage that she is going to die. She’ll be joined by Tegan Jovanka (Sophie Aldred), an Australian air stewardess who worked with Sylvester McCoy in the late 1980s, and Ace (Janet Fielding), who worked with Tom Baker and Peter Davison earlier in the decade.
