Shooting For ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ Halted For An Unavoidable Reason
The trailer for ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ has already revealed that it will feature better stunts compared to what we have seen in the rest of the films over the years. The producers are now trying to break the borders with the eighth film.
Titled ‘Dead Reckoning Part Two’, the film will be now facing trouble as the filming has been halted. The film is scheduled to be released in 2024 but it might be delayed by a year in case the shooting does not begin on time.
The reason for halting the film’s shoot is the WGA writer’s strike. The strike has already affected the production of the upcoming seasons of several TV shows alongside some films and ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ has now made it to the list. The 2023 WGA strike started on May 2, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. PDT.

‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’ is scheduled to be released on June 28, 2024. This will be the eighth film in the franchise and although the plot details have not been revealed, it will be dependent on how the seventh film will end.
Although Ethan Hunt will reprise his role in the film, it is reportedly expected to be his final appearance. Meanwhile, a majority of the cast members would return, including Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and others.
