A ‘Better Call Saul’ panel was invited to the PaleyFest. The audience did not expect what was coming to them when the showrunner and co-creator of series made an announcement. There was a thunderous uproar when he announced that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will also star in the upcoming two-part sixth season of Better Call Saul.

At the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, he said that he has been squirrelly about the guest stars. Peter added, “I’m naturally a little bit cagey about things, and I don’t want to spoil things for the audience. The first question we got when we started the show was, ‘Are we going to see Walt and Jesse?’ And instead of evading, I’ll just say ‘yeah.’ ”

Though he revealed more upcoming surprises other than the appearance, he did not reveal the timeframe of their appearance. Odenkirk, who plays the titular character of Saul Goodman teased, “there’s more when it comes to surprises.” To this, another cast member, Jonathan Banks jumped and said, “Aaron Paul is like 50 years [42 years] playing a 20-year-old.”

Gould also attended the event, where he confirmed that “These two worlds cross over in a way that you haven’t seen before, that’s for sure.”

However, the fans were teased about Cranston and Paul’s appearance. Vince Gilligan, the co-creator of the show said on the red carpet, “It would be a damn shame if the show ended without [Cranston and Paul] appearing, would it not?”

Bob Odenkirk confirmed that the new season will have both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul more entwined. On the red carpet, he said, “I personally feel that the two shows — ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul’ — are entwined even more than ever in the final season. And I think that’s surprising and cool, and it’s gonna make you want to watch ‘Breaking Bad’ again.”

Many other characters from “Breaking Bad” appeared in  “Better Call Saul” throughout its first five seasons, including the Salamanca twins (Luis and Daniel Moncada), Don Eladio (Luis Politti), and Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis).
