New couple alert? Billy Eichner and Anna Kendrick’s ‘alleged’ relationship has been disclosed. The duo, alongside actual couple Rebel Wilson and girlfriend Ramona Agruma, were featured on a list of “new celebrity relationships” of 2021 recently.
Eichner and Kendrick found themselves the target of a clickbait article touting their relationship to be a romantic one. The rumors of the ‘Noelle’ co-stars dating went viral. So, the two took matters into their own hands and responded to them by coming out as a “couple”.

Billy Eicher And Anna Kendrick Poke Fun At Dating Rumors
Over the weekend, Billy Eichner came across a clickbait article with the headline, “New Celebrity Relationships That Made Us Feel Better About 2021.” The comedian, who identifies as a homosexual, poked fun at the piece. At the same time, he gave a shoutout to his upcoming movie ‘Bros‘.
On Saturday (18 June), Eichner shared a screenshot on Twitter of the same. The article featured a photo of Kendrick and Eichner and a photo of Rebel Wilson and her real-life girlfriend Ramona Agruma. He captioned the post, “Um. Hey Anna Kendrick – cats out of the bag”.
Anna, who has been pals with him for a long time, trolled the dating rumors with him. The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star joined in on the fun and wrote, “We can finally live our truth Billy! You’ve felt so pressured to seem like a gay man that you made #BrosMovie but you’re free now! Our love can flourish!” She made this reference to the comedian’s upcoming gay rom-com.
“Wait til they find out YOU’RE the top!!! See you at home, honey!!!” Eichner quipped. If that wasn’t funny enough, Mariah Carey saw the banter and commented on Instagram with the joy emoji. Billy chose to shoot his shot, writing, “@MariahCarey I will leave her for you immediately. Just say the word.”
Billy Eichner Calls Hollywood “Homophobic”
Billy is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and is looking forward to flipping the tone of romantic comedies with his upcoming movie ‘Bros.’ The film tells the story of two men with commitment problems who attempt a relationship.
“The major Hollywood studios literally made 300 movies about DINOSAURS before they made ONE rom-com about two gay guys falling in love,” he previously shared on Twitter. “But OUR TIME HAS COME! And if you like dinosaurs, you’ll LOVE gay people!”
In a recent interview promoting his new movie, Eichner accused the Hollywood industry of being “homophobic” and “hypocritical”.
Meanwhile, Eichner and Kendrick starred together in the 2019 holiday film ‘Noelle,’ alongside Bill Hader. The ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum is said to be “quietly dating” the ‘Twilight‘ actress.
