Boy Who Tracks Elon Musk’s Plane Around Globe Suspects Removal From Twitter As Elon Musk Buys The Platform

The dramatic takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk is the most prominent headline nowadays. Musk claims that his approach to acquiring the platform is motivated by the want to instate free speech. He iterated the same after Twitter finally fell in his lap recently. Moreover, Musk added that he wishes for everyone to be on the platform, even the ones he isn’t exactly a fan of. However, user ElonMuskJet still thinks that the takeover means the end of his presence on Twitter now.

The owner of the viral Twitter account Elon Musk Jet, Jack Sweeney seems to think that his days on Twitter are coming to an end. Sweeney informed the users about his whereabouts on other platforms after Musk finalized his $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter. “Just in case this account disappears on Twitter, it doesn’t mean the end of ElonJet,” he wrote in a tweet.

Sweeney’s popular account updates the users about Musk’s location by tracking his private plane. Earlier in 2021, the Tesla chief offered the college student $5000 to delete the account citing privacy concerns. However, Sweeney turned down the offer with a counteroffer of $50,000 or an internship opportunity. However, Musk didn’t respond to the order, resulting in the account’s continuity on Twitter.

Now, Sweeney has expressed his concerns over the removal of ElonMuskJet from Twitter after Musk’s takeover. “I don’t know where it could go. Elon has said all this stuff about free speech, but at the same time, he does have control. So he could do something to suspend my account,” Sweeney said in an interview.

Moreover, Sweeney updated that although Musk is yet to take any action regarding the account, he unblocked him a few days ago. “Elon said he wanted the account down for safety reasons, but I don’t know if I believe that. I just think he doesn’t want people knowing where he is,” Sweeney said.

However, after informing about the account’s presence on other sites he also said, “If he did do something, that would make him look worse.”
