    Disney Reveals First Glimpse Of Avatar 2 At The CinemaCon Event

    The audience and fans of Avatar cannot wait for the experience of breathtaking spectacle and immersive sounds from Pandora’s land. Avatar 2 first glimpse was previewed at the annual congregation, CinemaCon taking place in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace. The James Cameron saga got its new title ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water. After the 2009 release of the first film, the world of Na’vi Nation will be back. The original Avatar is the highest-grossing film with a $2.802 billion global box office record. 

    The Family Will Take Center Stage In Avatar 2

    The anticipation of the audience is at its peak. In a surprise preview, fans got to see the first glimpse of the magnum opus that is Avatar: The Way Of Water at the annual CinemaCon. James Cameron is in New Zealand to give the final VFX touches at Weta FX in New Zealand.

    At the event, the producer Jon Landau was present to unveil the teaser trailer for Avatar: The Way Of Water. 3-D glasses were provided to the attendees for the complete immersion in the experience of Cameron’s world. With no sound, the grandiose visuals, and sounds took the breath of the audience away.

    In the teaser, the delegates witnessed the sparkling ocean water and lakes and stupendous frames that Cameron put together. The footage also showcases the Na’vi tribe interacting with species of whales and Pelicans.

    The flying creature, Toruk, flew in the faces of the audience and made the experience more tangible. Jon Landau commented, “We need to make sure [audiences] have an experience they can’t get anywhere else, and that needs to be exclusively in theaters.”

    Landau also reported that the film will have four sequels and each sequel will have the family taking center stage. John Fithian, President, and CEO of the National Association of Theater Owners have given us some trivia about the new Avatar film that the film will have more versions than any film “in the history of movies”

    He added, “We are talking about high resolution, high frame rates, 3D, Imax, PLF, different sound systems, and in 160 different languages.” James Cameron, before the release of Avatar in 2009, had 100 different versions of the deliverables in different 2D, and 3D light levels, resolutions, and sound systems making it the most enterprising project of that time.

    Cameron wants to get every minute technicality correct this time. With his Producer and the Production House, the director wants to submit varied versions with 3D, 4K, and a frame rate of 48 frames per second.

    Avatar: The Way Of Water will hit theaters on December 16th, 2022. Landau already revealed the film will have four sequels. Each being an individual film, but “together are an even greater connected epic saga.” The new film, set in Pandora, narrates the story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), and their children.

    In the teaser, Jake tells Neytiri, “I know one thing. Wherever we go, this family is our fortress.” The film will entail the hardships they endure to keep the clan safe even if it means facing the toughest battles.

    The Cast and Crew of the film are even spectacular. Zoe Saldana will return as Neytiri; Sam Worthington as Jake. Sigourney Weaver will play Dr. Grace Augustine; Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch. The new star power includes Vin Diesel and Cameron’s Titanic actress Kate Winslet. Russell Carpenter will be the DOP on the film, an Oscar-winning Cinematographer. 

    James Cameron appeared in a pre-recorded video from New Zealand to interact with the delegates. He said, “Avatar 2 is designed for the biggest screen and the most immersive 3D available, set out to test the limits of what Cinema can do.” As Disney acquired 21st Century Fox Studio, the trailer will be attached with the most-anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 6th, 2022.

    The budget for the film is $250 million. Disney is planning to re-release the 2009 Avatar for the anticipation of Avatar: The Way Of Water releasing during the Christmas week of December 16th, 2022.
