Elon Musk’s new features bear similarities to Instagram

The features of Twitter are different compared to Instagram. A few things are also limited and the feed does not feature anything similar to Instagram. But the main part that the users might be missing is a place where they can share their pictures and videos.

Elon Musk has reportedly announced the addition of one such feature and it is receiving a mixed response on Twitter. While some are happy with the feature being added to Twitter, others have questioned Elon’s choice as he once sued Instagram for copying his company.

Meanwhile, Musk is yet to issue an official statement on the same. It must be noted that a similar feature was launched by Musk for Twitter some time ago.

Elon Musk’s New Planned Feature Is Called Twitter Highlights

Elon Musk previously added similar features on Twitter

Elon Musk introduced a new feature for Twitter in June 2023. The feature lets users save their preferred tweets separately and the new tab is called ‘Highlights.’

The feature can help bring specific tweets into the limelight and make sure that they are trending. The feature is similar to Instagram where users can add Instagram Stories as Highlights on their profiles.

It is easy to use as users need to find the tweet that they want to highlight and click the three dots in the top right corner. Then they need to select the option called Add/remove from highlights.
