Apparently, Baz Luhrmann’s biopic ‘Elvis’ has missed out on a lot of details of the life of Elvis Presley. Fans have also agreed on this point about the movie. One such important missing factor is the King’s ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson.
The two dated for five years in the ’70s. They were living in together at his famous Graceland residence. Linda Thompson has expressed her unhappiness about the fact that she did not get featured in the new biopic despite being an important part of Elvis’ life.

Linda Thompson ‘Slams’ Elvis Movie
Elvis and Linda dated from 1972 to 1976. They had a very strong bond and she even moved in with him at his Graceland property. She still posts pictures from the time they were together to relive the memories. Fans love to see glimpses of their life back from the 1970s.
About not being included in the new biopic, she said, “I literally saved his life on several occasions… So any inclusion or exclusion in any movie ever made can never erase the important role I played in his life and he in mine. But every true fan already knows that. Thank you all for your loyalty.”
Thompson keeps visiting Graceland from time to time. She expressed her disappointment at not being featured in the ‘Elvis‘ movie by posting a picture of one such time when she went to Graceland. Linda Thompson Revealed She Helped Elvis Presley Decorate Graceland
Thompson also shared how she helped Elvis renovate many things in the Graceland residence. She apparently helped design the stained glass peacocks near the music room. She also decorated rooms downstairs in the house. Thompson decorated everything to match Elvis‘ taste, but his ex-wife Priscilla Presley changed many things as time passed.
However, the jungle decorated by Linda still remains exactly the same. The room is filled with stuffed animals. Linda added, “It’s surreal to remember decorating with him the legendary jungle room, stained glass peacocks in the living/music room, the fabric-covered pool room, TV room and other areas – as well as the Lisa Marie airplane.” So why Baz Luhrmann didn’t include her in his movie is still a question.
