Lionsgate’s Presentation At CinemaCon
Lionsgate opened at the CinemaCon with a brief teaser of the new movie. Their presentation started with “You’re invited to return to the Games,” read the screen as the ice thawed in the background of a wintry scape, revealing a bird and a snake. “In 2023, the world will discover who is a songbird and who is a snake.”
Lionsgate made a synopsis for the film in the presentation. It read, “In this return to The Hunger Games, years before he would become the tyrannical President of Panem, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow sees a chance for a change in fortunes when he is chosen to be a mentor to Lucy Gray Baird, the girl tribute from impoverished District 12.”
Finally, The Wait For The Release Date Of Hunger Games Is Over
This year’s CinemaCon has brought a ray of hope for the fans. Fans have already declared that they can’t wait for Ballad Of Songbird And Snake. Francis Laurence will direct the movie, he has also directed the franchise films, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay Part 1 & 2. Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and Lawrence are producing the new movie.
The novel for the movie was first released in 2020. The Movie spinoff and prequel to the Hunger Games trilogy. Writers for the film include creator Suzanne Collins, along with Michael Arndt and Michael Lesslie.
Finally, the movie will release on the big screens on November 17, 2023.
