    Justin Bieber Calls For A Moment Of Silence To Respect The Buffalo Mass Shooting Victims

    A very disheartening incident took place on May 14th, 2022 at the Tops Friendly Markets store in Buffalo, New York, United States. A criminal named Peyton Gendron killed 10 people and injured three others in a massive shootout. Reportedly 11 of the victims were African American. The shooter entered the supermarket fully armored and live-streamed the attack on twitch. Recently, singer Justin Bieber has addressed this disheartening incident in his concert. Hours before his concert at the city’s key bank center, the 10 people Were shot and killed in Buffalo. According to people, it was a racially motivated hate crime.

    Justin didn’t take time to address the disheartening tragedy that happened in the Buffalo supermarket that very evening. The singer was in town on Saturday on his Justice Tour. He got up on the stage at the KeyBank center just hours after the incident. He spoke about the massacre quite a few times in his concert once even before he took the stage. Before taking the stage he went into prayer with his team.

    “You guys probably heard what happened, pretty horrible stuff. But I’m looking forward to tonight, looking forward to getting on stage and doing what we do best, having a good time and bringing joy to the city, much needed,” Bieber said in a pre-show huddle with his crew.

    Fans were eagerly waiting for Justin to rock the stage as usual. So the singer finally got up on the stage to perform a power pact composition. But, before diving into any music he took a moment to acknowledge the tragedy again. Not only that but he also requested the fellow audience to spend a moment of silence to respect the disheartening incident that happened hours ago.

    “As you know, there’s been the tragedy in the city, but what we’re gonna do tonight, is gonna honor those people,” he told the audience.

    Justin Bieber was upset with some fans hooting and hollering during the solemn period of the concert. He has uploaded a couple of videos on his Instagram profile where he has captioned the behavior of such fans asking them why they couldn’t respect it.

    Not only that, but he also stopped the show for a while to discuss people’s obligation to continue to have a conversation about racism. He talked directly to the crowd from the stage before he performed his justice song “Hurt.”

    “As we know, there’s so much division in this world. So much racial injustice. As you and I both know, racism is evil and it is diabolical,” Bieber said. “But what you and I get to do, we get to be the difference makers. We get to be the people who continue to have conversations with our friends and our family and our loved ones. We continue to be allies.”

    Bieber added on Instagram, “RACISM WILL NOT PREVAIL GOD DOES. WE STAND WITH YOU BUFFALO AND STAND AGAINST THIS RACIST ACT OF TERROR.”
