It is Lizzo’s World and we are living in it! The Tempo singer has had an interestingly happening year so far. Lizzo released her Shapewear line Yitty. It is an all-inclusive shapewear brand “all based on the principles of self-love, radical inner confidence, and effortless, everyday wear.” The singer announced her album Special and released one of the songs “About Damn Time” which debuted at No. 50 at Billboard Hot 100.
During Coachella, she performed with Harry Styles, who was headlining the festival. However, the news of the week is Lizzo’s texting with one of the BTS boys as mentioned in one of the interviews recently.
Lizzo Revealed Her Equation With BTS In The New Audacy Originals Interview
The world is still in awe of the adorable Olivia Rodrigo and the BTS moments at the Grammy Awards. The same night the boy band gave a memorable, Bond-Esque performance leaving the audience captivated. It is not just Olivia with whom the boys have a camaraderie. In a recent interview with Audacy’s Kevan Kenney, rapper-entrepreneur Lizzo has also expressed her love, and admiration for the band, and talked about the heartthrob J-Hope.
The artist praised BTS and her association with the fandom, “Good people, like really good energy.” She also mentioned the reason why she gravitates towards the boy band. “I think that’s always why I’ve gravitated towards BTS because they remind me of myself where it’s like, self-love and this positive energy and the way they love their fans. I feel the same way, and they genuinely have just a pure, positive energy all the time.”
Further confessing that she has J-Hope’s number and they text each other. Describing J-Hope as a texter, she said, “He’s a great texter, expressive. He does not leave you on read. If it’s been a while since he’s texted, he’s like ‘I’m so sorry,’ and he apologizes for how long it’s taken.” Now we know why the ARMY is so possessive of the “Butter” band. When asked if there is a collaboration on the way, Lizzo said, “Absolutely! I have to be careful because their fans are fierce! But absolutely, I would just say that. I would love to.”
