Although the details of the script are being kept in the vault, this is reportedly an original “Ocean’s Eleven” film featuring the 1960s Europe. The “Oceans” franchise was launched in 2001. Steven Soderberg directed a fast-talking stylish heist comedy at that time. The movie featured George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon, among many others. It gradually turned into an unexpected franchise.

The first movie grossed over $450,000,000 worldwide theatrically. Steven and company churned out two more star-packed installments in 2004 and 2007 respectively. The franchise made a big return in 2018 with “Oceans 8″. It was a female-centric spin-off led by Sandra Bullock, Helena Bonham Carter and Rihanna. The title has evolved into a famous brand by now.

The film does not officially have the go-ahead but there is a chance that it is going into production in the spring of 2023.
