It’s a playdate. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry hosted a playdate at their house recently. The late Late Show star James Corden was the honorable guest. James visited Meghan Markle and Prince Harry along with his kids in their house.
In an interview with “The Sun“, James was asked if he visited Harry and Meghan at their Montecito home. He said, “I Have. It was more a sort of play date scenario [with the kids]. Then we went out for dinner after, it was lovely. Obviously, I’m not telling you anymore. Obviously.”
James Shares His Feelings For The Royal Couple
James Corden was extremely honored to be invited to the house of the royal couple. He shares that his personal experience with Meghan and Prince Harry has been nothing but positive. “Look, I’m a huge fan of both of them,” he said. “Obviously, I know Harry better than I know Meghan but I think it’s really hard to judge or be judgmental.”
The TV host, 43, said that he has a “huge amount of respect and admiration for Harry, and anyone who has been around him and spent time with him would feel exactly the same way.” James expressed his heartfelt affection for Harry, “I think he is a devoted and loving husband and father and I think what they have done [in turning away from royal life] is incredibly brave, and I’ll always be in their corner.”
James shared some sweet memories from Megan and Harry’s wedding. He recalled making a joke at the reception at the expense of fellow wedding guests George Clooney. “Afterwards though, [at the evening reception], I did make a joke, dressed up as Henry VIII, and told everyone: ‘George Clooney’s here, so congratulations on your new Nespresso machine, guys!” he said.
The Good Old Days Of The Two Friends
James Gordon was flooded with emotion when he recalled introducing Harry to California in a segment for the late Late Show. It was February 2021, the two friends were driving around Hollywood on a double-decker bus. They had tea on the open-top bus and then stopped off at the original home used in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. And for a while on the car pool karaoke style skits. Harry probably pulled off a brief version of the rap too.
They played real estate agents after that. He urged Harry to make an offer on the place after the Prince had nipped in for a bathroom break. Harry was FaceTiming wife Meghan, which revealed that she calls him Haz. James was in a joking mood and asked Megan if she wants to move again. “You’d be the fresh Princess of Bel-Air!” Corden urged her. She responded, “I think we’ve done enough moving.”
There is no doubt that Harry and James “have been friends for years and had a great time.
