Megyn Kelly is an ex-presenter at Fox News and NBC News. She has recently been facing severe criticism. The criticism flew in post Kelly made claims that her gay and lesbian friends do not want Transgenders to be a part of the community. Megyn revealed the thought while having a conversation with Steven Crowder(who is a far-right extremist). Megyn was invited to the Sirius XM show by Steven Crowder. Kelly had outrightly claimed about the slippery slope that transgender civil rights and equality have. She shared that their rights are in danger if the leftist activists’ demands get sanctioned.
Why Did Megyn Kelly Make Such A Controversial Claim?

Megyn shared that from what she has learned from her gay and lesbian friends is that there is a conflict of interest between these communities as there are divergent interests. This is the reason why Kelly feels that transgenders are not to be included under the larger LGBTQ+ community’s umbrella. Kelly’s friends find the T in the LGBTQ+ Community very weird. The weirdness does not stop here as they find Q also irrelevant. Moreover, one of the main reasons for the same is the non-alignment of the interests of these several sub-communities.
“In fact, if you look at like the trans activists – like the crazy trans, not like normal – whatever, the crazy trans activists are so vicious, and they, they’re basically kind of doing conversion therapy on young gay men.”

She then proceeds to insult all the irrational trans campaigners. Hence, it implies their attempt to persuade homosexual guys about the superiority of announcing a female gender and be done with the whole gay thing. Kelly’s comments came as Crowder lamented that the left is fine with biological men thrashing women in their own sports.
Winds of Anti-LGBTQ+ Legislation
Republicans around the country are raising demands for anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in recent months. And surprisingly much of it is aimed at transgender persons. Such representations highlight the gravity of the issue across the states. Steven Crowder further shares how the leftists are trying to put puberty blockers in children that too without the child’s consent. Studies state how adults who are transgenders if got access to puberty blockers while growing up, could’ve easily mitigated suicidal thoughts.
